Eduard Latypov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TEAM Consulting Group, took part in the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) as a representative and coordinator of interaction with the official delegation of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.
The Uruguayan delegation at the Forum was led by Luis Alfredo Fratti Silveira, Minister of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries of Uruguay, and María del Rosario Portell Casanova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uruguay to the Russian Federation.
During the Forum’s business program, a series of meetings were held with the participation of Eduard Latypov aimed at developing trade and economic cooperation between Uruguay and Russia.
One of the key events was a meeting with Sergey Dankvert, Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance. The parties discussed prospects for expanding supplies of Uruguayan agricultural products to the Russian market, certification procedures, and opportunities for cooperation in digital technologies for the agro-industrial sector.
Another meeting was held with the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Participants discussed potential cooperation in agricultural production, the food industry, and investment projects.
Special attention was given to discussions with the management of Neva Milk, one of the largest Russian importers of dairy products from Uruguay. The meeting focused on further development of trade relations and strengthening partnerships between Russian and Uruguayan businesses.

The Oriental Republic of Uruguay is represented by TEAM in St. Petersburg, and the company is a member of the National Committee for Promoting Economic Cooperation with Latin American Countries (NC SECLA).
Participation in SPIEF marked another step in strengthening business ties between Russia and Latin American countries, and reaffirmed TEAM’s expert role in supporting international projects and advancing foreign economic cooperation.
