The international business forum “ROSTKI: Russia and China — Mutually Beneficial Cooperation” brought together representatives of government authorities, business associations, and the business communities of Russia and China for the fourth time. The forum is dedicated to developing bilateral economic cooperation between Russian regions and Chinese provinces.
The business program included plenary sessions and thematic sessions, as well as the international Russia-China Expo.
TEAM Consulting Group took part in organizing and holding the session “Entering the Russian and Chinese Markets: Legal Models for Business Establishment, Compliance, and Protection of Interests”, dedicated to the legal aspects of Russian and Chinese companies entering the markets of the two countries.
The session participants discussed current issues concerning commercial contracts between Russian and Chinese companies, prospects for Russian businesses entering the Chinese market, specific aspects of Chinese e-commerce companies entering the Russian market, as well as the legal aspects of Chinese businesses investing in local production in Russia.
TEAM Managing Director Viktor Mironov delivered a presentation titled “From Trade to Investment: Prospects for the Development of Russian-Chinese Business Cooperation.”
Chinese legal consultants and TEAM partners also took part in the session as invited experts:
— Zhang Chen, Senior Partner at the Shanghai office of Yingke Law Firm and Head of the International Capital Markets Department;
— Stone B. Guo, Senior Partner and Head of the International Investment and Dispute Resolution Practice at Haixin Law Firm.
